About the Speakers

Martin Gallo

Martin is a security professional with more than 14 years of work experience. He is currently Director of Strategic Research at SecureAuth, where he focus on leading innovation initiatives aiming at solving identity-related security problems. Before that, he spent some years at Core Security, where he specialized in product management and leadership, penetration testing, code reviews and vulnerability hunting, and previously in the IT consulting business at one of the Big Four. He is passionate about software engineering and learning how to make great products, and his research interests include enterprise software security, vulnerability hunting, threat modeling and reverse engineering. Outside work, he loves spending time with his family and friends, reading sci-fi novels, listening to stoner metal bands and all things basketball.

Philippe Langlois

Philippe Langlois is an Information Security worldwide expert in Network and Telecom with more than 20 years of experience in telecom and network security. He successfully founded several industry-leading companies in security including Qualys (US, NASDAQ: QLYS), INTRINsec (FR), WorldNet (FR), WaveSecurity (US), TSTF (EU) and P1 Security (FR). He conducted security missions such as audit, pen test, hardening, vulnerability analysis, risk analysis and threat intelligence in the Telecommunications and Network Security domain. Philippe defined new methods and created appropriate tools to audit SS7, IMS and SIGTRAN networks through heavy R&D work. He led world-class pioneering work in vulnerability assessment product development such as in Qualys and INTRINsec. He also led the development of multiple complex system architectures in security products, ASP services and ISP/MSP infrastructures, and built and motivated international engineering teams, around security products and services.
