Most botnets suck. They are based on crappy software maintained by clueless people – completely boring for the experienced botnet takeover guy. You are looking for challenges? This talk demonstrates how the more sophisticated botnets that make use of e.g., peer-to-peer technology or strong cryptography can be 0wned.
