Yes! We have everything neatly organized on our agenda page.
Where can I check my ticket order?
Please use the link in the email you got after you completed your booking. If you don't have it anymore, you can request a new mail through our ticketshop.
What are Social Events about?
Social events serve many purposes at TROOPERS. Our shared dinner is a chance to connect and share knowledge with others you may not normally see or have a chance to meet (so we highly suggest you sit with people you don’t already know!). While PacketWars is a chance to show your skills, learn new ones, and have some fun! On the Thursday morning of our conference (bright and early), our classic TROOPERS 10k run helps to raise money for our TROOPERS’ Charity. This year we will again raise money for Soup and Socks e.V..
What is Soup and Socks and Habibi.Works?
Soup and Socks is a refugee help origanization, who we support by raising money at the TROOPERS conference. That money goes to support a project of Soup and Socks called "Habibi.Works". You are of course welcome to donate any amount (yes we also take coins :)) and/or participate in the 10k run.
I am not a runner- how else can I help the charity?
During lunch on the second day are several items to be raffled off, with all proceeds going to the TROOPERS Charity. Another way is to visit our Charity table in the lobby by registration. There are items there that have no fixed cost, but you donate what you think is best. You can always just drop your change in the Charity box at the table as well (we take all denominations!). Thank you!
Is there a hotel booking code?
Yes! You will find the rates and booking code TROOPERS for select hotels on our travel page
Is there food at TROOPERS?
Yes! Your ticket includes a light breakfast, lunch, and snacks/drinks throughout the day, for each training day, and Main Conference day. For those attending the main conference, your ticket also includes the Shared Dinner on the Wednesday of the conference. If you have any special requirements (like allergies or such), please let us know at check-in.
Are trainings/talks given in German or English?
As we are an international conference all talks during the Main Conference/Roundtables are in English. For the trainings- the default language is English, unless the training is led by a German speaker and contains all German speaking attendees who are comfortable with the training being given in German. (However, please note all training materials are still prepared in English).
I have further questions and would like to speak to someone in person, who do I call?
No problem. Feel free to reach out to us through any channels listed on our contact page. We are fluent in English and German.
